Capital Markets Technical Workshop Facilitator


The Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) provides technical seminars for the capital markets industry in Fiji.  The objective of these seminars is to help build capacity and technical expertise in various capital markets areas.  Past technical seminars have been conducted in the following areas Financial Analysis and Business Valuation Techniques; Corporate Financial Management; Risk Management; Fund Management; How to value a company and Mergers and Acquisitions. 


The Reserve Bank of Fiji is looking for a Workshop Facilitator to prepare and conduct 1-2 days workshops in the following topics:


·         Finance Workshop for Non Financial Executives  (Basic)       :             April 26, 2011

·         Finance Workshop for Non Financial Executives  (Int/Adv)    :             April 27, 2011

·         Valuation of Unlisted Securities  (Int-Adv)                                 August 10-11, 2011

·         Investment Portfolio Management (Int-Adv)                  :           October 19-20, 2011


Deliverable Outputs

The main outputs to be delivered by the Facilitator are:


      1.            Developing workshop programme;

      2.            Preparing workshop materials;

      3.            Facilitation of the Workshop.



The Facilitator will be expected to have all or most of the following:


·         Minimum 10 years working experience in the securities industry;

·         Demonstrable experience of workshop training is mandatory;

·         Practical experience in corporate finance, valuation of securities and/or fund management and other related fields;

·         Ability to deliver quality output and meet tight deadlines.


Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interests must include: a letter of interest, Curriculum Vitae of facilitator(s), and an indication of the range of expected rates per day and total fees for each 2 days seminar .
